My recent short animation project won a gold award at the 2018 AEAF awards! Thanks to all the talented artists who worked so hard on the project.
I've been working with artist Jamil Yamani on a short documentary style, hand drawn animation called: Flight from Kakmuma.
This short film tells the story of Adiing Majok Juach, who was born and raised in a refugee camp in Kenya before moving to Australia. We've had a test screening at an exhibition titled: 'War a Playground Perspective' at Newington Armory in Sydney and are working toward a final version of the film.
Erica and I did a talk and Q&S presentation screening thing at GRAPHIC - A festival of story telling, animation and music at The Sydney Opera House. Thanks to festival curators Jordan Verzar and Ben Marshall for having us. I was a great experience.
Very excited to be working with Screen Australia on our feature animation project 'Pig Wing Pie'.
